Research

In my research, I study how highly detailed yarn-level cloth simulation can enable designers to prototype knitted and woven patterns virtually to shorten the design process. This work includes tools that simulate and visualize the shape of knitted and woven fabrics, and allow a user to modify the pattern on the fly.
